Egg & Toast
Emmanuel’s most recent creative project is his animated short film Egg & Toast. An absurd story about a man who vomits a giant egg and the friendship that ensues from the consumption of said egg. This current version is a WIP, containing scratch track audio, and some rough animation.
Emmanuel enjoys solving problems and taking on new challenges. This often leads him to explorations in movement, perspective and compositional storytelling. In this short animation, Emmanuel tried his hand at animating in 5-point perspective, mimicking the look of a fish-eye camera lens. Although he believes the results were not entirely successful, Emmanuel believes in the importance of sharing one’s process— failures and succeses included! We learn the most from our failures and that is a thing to celebrate!
